THE FOLLOWING PROMOTION IS FOR LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES. RESIDENTS OF ARIZONA, IOWA, LOUISIANA, MONTANA, WASHINGTON, AND VERMONT AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA MAY PARTICIPATE, BUT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ANY FORM OF PRIZING OR OTHER CONSIDERATION. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE AT THE DATE OF ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION.
Eligibility
These are the official rules (the "Official Rules") for 2012 Bracket Challenge (the "Promotion"). The Promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (EXCLUDING PUERTO RICO, OTHER UNITED STATES TERRITORIES, AND FOREIGN TERRITORIES), who are eighteen (18) years or older as of the date of entry, and are registered members of LeagueSafe.com who make a deposit on the LeagueSafe web site into a March Madness office pool between the dates of March 9th 2012 and March 15th 2012, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (an "Entrant" or "you"). Employees and immediate family members of LeagueSafe.com and PicksLeague.com are not eligible to win prizes. Participation in the Promotion constitutes Entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's decisions. The decisions of the Sponsor regarding all matters relating to the Promotion are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of U.S. Men's College Basketball to accumulate the most points in this Promotion during the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament (the"Tournament"). If you are a college athlete or expect to be one, participating in this Promotion could affect your NCAA ® eligibility. This Promotion is void in all U.S. Territories, (e.g., Puerto Rico and Guam) and where prohibited by law.

Additional advertisers associated with the Promotion, if any, shall be deemed a Promoter for purposes of these Official Rules. This Promotion is not endorsed by, associated with, or sponsored by, the National Collegiate Athletic Association ("NCAA"), its members or partners. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
How to Enter
Make a valid payment into any league designated as a March Madness 2012 league on LeagueSafe.com on or before Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Once you’ve made a valid payment, you’ll gain access to a link to the Promotion entry page, which provides details on how to join the Promotion.
PicksLeague.com Registration
You must be a registered member of PicksLeague.com to participate in the Promotion. Registration is free.
You may register by going to www.picksleague.com, clicking the “Sign Up” link, and following instructions. You will be asked to provide your e-mail address, name, and to select a password.
The email address you use to register for PicksLeague.com must match the email address you use to register for LeagueSafe.com.
If you are already a member, then you do not need to register again, but you should be certain that the email address you used on PicksLeague.com matches the email address of your LeagueSafe.com account.
You are responsible for the secrecy of your password. Sponsor, Promoters and other third parties are not responsible or liable for any actions taken using your password.
LeagueSafe.com Registration
You must be a registered member of LeagueSafe.com to participate in the Promotion. Registration is free.
You may register by going to www.leaguesafe.com, clicking the “Login” link, and following instructions. You will be asked to provide your e-mail address, name, and to select a password. You will also be asked if you wish to receive promotional emails or offers. You do not need to consent to receive these emails or offers in order to become a member. Even if you consent, you may subsequently opt-out of receiving such emails or offers by clicking on the "My Settings" link on your LeagueSafe.com user home page, then clicking on the "Subscriptions" link and following the instructions.
If you are already a member, then you do not need to register again, but you should be certain that the email address you use on PicksLeague.com matches the email address of your LeagueSafe.com account. Any prizes you win will be deposited in your existing account on LeagueSafe.com.

Timing
The Promotion begins on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 12:00pm Eastern Time and ends on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:59pm (or upon the completion of the Tournament) (the "Promotion Period").
How to Play
a. General. The objective of the Promotion is to accumulate the most points by correctly selecting the "winning pick" for each of the sixty-three (63) matchups associated with the Tournament.
b. How to make your selections. You may enter your selections online at PicksLeague.com by following the instructions in the How to Play section of the game.
c. Scoring. A correct pick in each round is given points according to the schedule below:
In the event a Tournament match does not occur as scheduled (e.g., due to cancellation, postponement, etc.) no points will be awarded.
d. Lock-time. All picks will lock at the scheduled tip off time of the Tournament currently scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2012. Your picks for the matchups must be submitted, received and recorded by Promoter's computer by the scheduled lock time. Selections submitted after the deadline are considered invalid. Promoter's computer is the official time-keeping device for this Promotion.
e. Ties. Entrants are required to submit a predicted total score for the championship game (the "Tiebreaker Score"). This prediction is used to determine the winner of the Grand Prize, First Prize, and Second Prize in case of a tie.
TIEBREAKERS:
In all cases, an entry that does not win a tiebreaker is eliminated from consideration.
f. Limit ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON.
No Entry Fee
There is no entry fee required to participate in the Promotion. Only entries received online in accordance with these Official Rules will be accepted. No other forms of entry - fax, mail, email, phone or other - will be accepted. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. Winner will be determined on or about Wednesday, April 5, 2012.
Prizes
The approximate retail value ("ARV") of all prizes is $1,000. Sponsor will award one (1) grand prize (the "Grand Prize") to the Entrant with the most overall points scored in the Promotion, one (1) first prize (the “First Prize”) to the entrant with the second-most overall points scored in the Promotion, and one (1) second prize (the “Second Prize”) to the entrant with the third-most overall points scored in the Promotion.
Grand Prize Winner (One): $550.00 credit to your LeagueSafe.com account (ARV: $550.00)
The top eligible Entrant, based on overall points, will win the Grand Prize. The potential Grand Prize winner will be made official on or around Wednesday, April 5, 2012. Potential Prize Winner will be notified by email within a reasonable time after the official results are tabulated, not to exceed thirty (30) days.
First Prize Winner (One): $300.00 credit to your LeagueSafe.com account (ARV: $300.00)
The eligible Entrant with the second-most overall points will win the First Prize. The potential First Prize winner will be made official on or around Wednesday, April 5, 2012. Potential Prize Winner will be notified by email within a reasonable time after the official results are tabulated, not to exceed thirty (30) days.
Second Prize Winner (One): $150.00 credit to your LeagueSafe.com account (ARV: $150.00)
The eligible Entrant with the third-most overall points will win the Second Prize. The potential Second Prize winner will be made official on or around Wednesday, April 5, 2012. Potential Prize Winner will be notified by email within a reasonable time after the official results are tabulated, not to exceed thirty (30) days.
Odds of winning prizes depend on the total number of eligible entries received and the relative U.S. Men's College Basketball knowledge of all Entrants.
Potential Winners
ALL POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL. SPONSOR SHALL SOLELY DETERMINE ANY FORM OF VERIFICATION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT'S ELIBIGILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS, AFFIDAVITS OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF WINNING IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS. ANY ENTRY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON MAY BE DEEMED A DEFECTIVE ENTRY AND VOID.
Potential winners will be notified via email sent within thirty (30) business days following the end of the Promotion Period. It is the sole responsibility of the Entrant to notify the Sponsor during the Promotion Period if his or her e-mail address has changed.
A potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected if (i) he/she does not comply with these rules (or is otherwise determined to be ineligible), (ii) he/she is not a registered member of LeagueSafe.com, or if the emailed prize notice, after three (3) attempts, is returned as undeliverable, or (iii) the prize is undeliverable for any reason. If Sponsor notifies, or seeks to deliver a prize to or otherwise attempts to contact an alternate potential winner, and such alternate potential winner is subsequently disqualified then Sponsor shall use its reasonable business judgment to determine, in its sole discretion, the disposition of the prize (e.g., may choose another alternate potential winner in a manner consistent with these rules or donate the prize to another entity, at its sole discretion).
Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Winners are solely responsible for any and all expenses, relative to participation in the Promotion (including acceptance of any prize) not specified herein.
THE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE.
Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check of any and all records of any winner, including without limitation, civil and criminal court records and police reports. To the extent necessary under law, winner shall authorize this background check. Sponsor may also take all steps necessary to corroborate any information provided to Sponsor by winner in his/her interview. In that regard, winner will be obligated to provide necessary contacts and information so that Sponsor may conduct such investigation. Sponsor reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify a winner based on the background check, and select an alternate.
By accepting any prize, the winners grant permission to LeagueSafe to use their names and/or likenesses for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law, and agree to execute a written consent. In the event of dispute about the identity of any entrant, entries made online are declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner can be required to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.
Sportsmanship
By registering, you agree to abide by the general sportsmanship rules set forth in these rules and fantasy games in general. You further agree to accept and abide by the rulings and the decisions of LeagueSafe regarding all questions of sportsmanship. Sportsmanship broadly includes actions such as abusive postings and communication, colluding with other teams in the league, deliberately choosing to start incomplete or weak lineups, free agent moves for reasons other than improvement of the owner's fantasy team, and any other actions not conducive to decent, fair, and honest play. If an owner refused to comply with the sportsmanship rules, or that an owner has acted in an unsportsmanlike manner, LeagueSafe reserves the right to disqualify the owner and/or remove that owner from the league without a refund. All decisions by LeagueSafe will be final.
Inappropriate, Offensive, or Commercial Communication
The league message boards, league news and league email are provided to facilitate communication with other league owners and enhance the enjoyment of the Promotion. LeagueSafe does not permit posting or sending messages or images, to include logos and avatars, that could be construed as offensive to other owners. Inappropriate communication can also include spamming team owners with commercial offers and/or posting commercial messages on the Promotion's message board. Team owners who violate these guidelines are subject to being restricted from posting in the league. Additionally, LeagueSafe reserves the right to disqualify the owner and/or remove that owner from the Promotion. All decisions by LeagueSafe will be final.
Internet Technology Problems
If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor or Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the registration process or operations of the Promotion and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. Sponsor and Promoter assume no responsibility for any error, omissions, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation with transmission, communications, line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or allegation of entries. Sponsor and Promoter are not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, equipment or software, failure of any email or user action to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, phone lines, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant's computer related to or resulting from participation in the Promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE LEAGUES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, LEAGUESAFE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Liability
Sponsor is not responsible for any late, lost, garbled, misdirected, incomplete, or damaged entries; any Promotion disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor or any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion. Sponsor and Promoter are not in any way responsible or liable for any damage, loss or injury (including death) resulting from participation in the Promotion and/or acceptance and use of any prize won. Sponsor is solely responsible for enacting, administering, enforcing the rules, and maintaining the integrity of the Promotion. The Promotion and web site are not sponsored by, endorsed by, nor affiliated with, the NCAA ®.
Release
Sponsor is not responsible for any late, lost, garbled, misdirected, incomplete, or damaged entries. By participating in the Promotion, you release and agree to hold harmless LeagueSafe, LLC, its sponsors, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries and losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
Gambling Prohibition
This Promotion is strictly for entertainment purposes and may not be used in connection with any form of gambling. The NCAA ® does not promote, endorse or condone gambling or sports wagering of any kind. The NCAA ® membership has adopted specific legislation prohibiting athletic department staff members, conference office staff, national office staff and student-athletes from engaging in sports gambling activities as they relate to intercollegiate or professional sporting events.
Disputes, Forum For All Disputes
In the event that an Entrant has a concern with Sponsor and/or its services, Entrants should first contact Sponsor. It is Sponsor's desire to listen to Entrant concerns, and to address them in an effort to obtain a mutually-agreeable and cost-effective solution.
In the event that a Entrant and Sponsor are unable to reach an agreement, Sponsor in its sole discretion may, but is not obligated to, consider the merits of using a Minnesota-based third-party mediator. Entrants agree, as a condition to using the services of Sponsor and Promoter, that any dispute brought against Sponsor may be made only by legal action commenced in Hennepin County District Court, Hennepin County, Minnesota and that Minnesota law will apply to all such disputes. In any such action where Sponsor is successful in the outcome of the litigation, Sponsor shall be entitled to recover all of Sponsor's costs and expenses associated with the dispute, including but not limited to attorneys fees and court costs.
Any dispute brought against Sponsor that is raised contrary to the Promotion is considered a breach of these Official Rules, and Sponsor is entitled to recover all costs associated with the dispute, including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs. A Entrant who raises a dispute contrary to these Official Rules will receive notification of the improper dispute.
Privacy
Personally identifiable information that is submitted by Entrants as part of this Promotion will be used to administer the Promotion, select prize winners and fulfill prizes, and will be treated in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy accessible on its website at www.leaguesafe.com.
