TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is a list of some additional rules and settings that are not listed on the app or on leaguesafe.

Read everything! Read this carefully as well as the settings on ESPN to ensure that you know exactly what you are paying for. Refunds are available before the deadline

— PAYMENT DEADLINE — the payment deadline is set at 8/24/24. However, if the league fills up early, the deadline will be pushed up to approximately 48 hours after the moment it fills. This is to give all teams time to submit refunds if needed, while also giving ourselves more time to know our draft order.

— DRAFT ORDER — the draft order will be issued shortly after we have all teams paid. It will be computer generated and randomized via fantasypros.com (fantasy football draft order generator). The order will be sent to team emails directly from “fantasypros” to prove the authenticity of its randomization. The goal is to get the draft order available as soon as possible so we can practice drafting in our respective spots.

— ORDER SWAPPING — if two teams agree that before the draft they want to swap the order in which they pick, that is perfectly fine. This is not the same thing as pick trading, trading individual draft picks is not permitted (ex. Pick 1.07 for picks 1.11 and 7.11)

— PLAYER INACTIVITY — if a player becomes inactive and is no longer setting their lineup, that’s on them. It wouldn’t be my place as a commissioner to interfere with their team. So for example if you need an inactive player to beat “player X” to help your playoff push, I unfortunately won’t be able to fill in their lineup.

— SCORING — all scoring is ESPN standard. It is .5 PPR scoring plus I have added one minor adjustment. Kickers will receive 0.1 points per FG yards made (ex. 34 yard field goal is 3.4 points) The Kicker position will not receive the usual “-1” points for field goal attempts missed that are 60+ yards.

— TRADES — the trade deadline date will be voted on in a league poll

-FAAB can be included in trades upon verbal agreement of both parties

-All trades will have a 24 hour review period, although if a trade is made the night before the game I will finalize the trade just prior to kickoff so each team can use their new player(s).

-Trades will be monitored very closely for team stacking, collusion, etc.

-Teams that are statistically eliminated from the playoff hunt (or extremely close to it) will be removed from the trade block as a collusion preventative.

-The maximum amount of trades a team can make is 6, although I doubt anyone will reach that many.

 -It will take just 4 vetos to veto a trade together as a league.

 -If a trade is a little fishy or questionable I will typically wait and see if the league vetos it first, if not vetoed I can veto it as a league manager only if I feel it is absolutely necessary.

— PLAYOFF FORMAT — we have a 6 team playoff with 1 week per matchup. The top 2 seeds will get a bye in the first round of the playoffs. The playoff seeding tiebreaker goes to the team with the most points. Everyone is in the same division.

— UNPREDICTABLE EVENTS — in the event of an unpredictable event (ex. Damar Hamlin game in 2022) I will post a league poll in order for us to come to an agreement on the ruling.

— POLLS — there will be 2 polls prior to the season starting. 1 is a poll on deciding the date of the trade deadline. The other poll is whether or not we want to have a playoff home field advantage to the higher seeded team. (Something small like +3)

— CHAT — we will most likely just use the fantasy chat within the app for communication. I politely ask for no dialogue about politics, religion, etc.
