SHARES This game is called a Share Pool. It's like playing at a sports book but instead of using real money we are using Shares. Shares have no value and are only used for keeping score. You can think of them as points.

POOL FORMAT AND STANDINGS This is a simple share pool where the person with the most shares at the end wins. Everyone starts with the same number of shares and if you lose all your shares you are out of the pool.

INITIAL STAKE Everyone joining this pool will get 10000 shares to start out.

RISK TO WIN This game uses odds. You risk 11 shares to win 10 shares.

PICK DEADLINE There is no pick deadline for Share Pools. You may enter picks up until the published start time of each game. The published start time is often before the real tip off time, so keep in mind that you may be prevented from entering picks before the game starts. Once the published start time of a game passes, you can't enter picks for it. The website should automatically prevent you from making picks once the game starts, but in the event of a bug or glitch in the website, any picks made after the start of a game will be voided.

NO CHANGING PICKS Just like at a sports book, once you make a pick you can't change it. You can pick the other side to cancel out your original pick but you can't undo it.

MAXIMUM RISK There is no limit imposed on the amount of shares you can risk on any pick. You are limited only by the number of shares you have left.

CONFIRMING PICKS It is your responsibility to confirm that your own picks are accepted by the website. You can do this in a number of ways including sending yourself a pick confirmation email (PICKS>Email Picks) and by going to PICKS>Pending Picks. The picks shown on the website are your FINAL picks regardless of any paper printouts or confirmation emails or other proof you might have. In the event of any dispute with individual picks, we will always go by what is shown on the website.

WEBSITE MALFUNCTION If there is a problem with the website that prevents you from entering picks before a game starts, for example if the website has the wrong game time, then your picks will not be accepted UNLESS 1) You post your picks on your trash talk message board, which is time stamped, before the game tips off (or soon after), 2) You also email your picks to your pool manager in the same time frame, and 3) Your pool manager decides to accept the picks.
