League Settings & Rules

WELCOME to the 2025 March Madness Bracket Pool.We will not use any play-in games.Scoring by round is 1,2,4,8,16,32. There are also bonus points given in the following situations: 1. Seed Multiplier » Multiply the standard round points by the team seed number Example: In a pool with this scoring method: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Correctly pick the 1 seed over the 16 in round 1, then receive 1 point 1 seed * 1 pt for round 1 = 1 pt Correctly pick the 8 seed over the 1 seed in round 2, then receive 16 points 8 seed * 2 pts for round 2 = 16 pts 2. Bracket Upset Bonus » 1 point per seeding difference for picking upsets Example: Correctly pick a 12 seed over a 5 seed and receive 7 bonus points on top of that round's standard points. 12 seed - 5 seed = 7 pts seed multiplier is applied before upset bonus 3. Final Four Bonus » Correctly predict all final 4 teams and get 25 bonus points TIE BREAKER: Total Points in Championship Game

Tie Breakers are calculated as follows: If multiple players are tied for the highest points for any given week or for the championship game in tournament type pools, the player with the closest tie breaker prediction, regardless if they are over or under, to the actual tie breaker value is the winner. If multiple players are still tied, then the player who enterred their tie breaker value first*, wins.

• = The player with the earliest date/timestamp for enterring their picks. In the event that after the tie breakers have been satisifed-if there is still a tie-we will use the equal split of combined places method of settlement.PRIZE MONEY FOR THE PLACE OF FINISH IN QUESTION IS COMBINED WITH THE FOLLOWING PLACE OR PLACES OF FINISH AND THEN DIVIDED EQUALLY AMONG TIED PARTICIPANTS.
