League Settings & Rules

Nothin’ But Fun - League Bylaws Style: Dynasty – “SuperFlex” Cost to participate: $200 per season.

• You must pay for any future years before completing a trade involving future draft picks.
• All money is held in LeagueSafe escrow.
• Payment is due prior to startup draft. Future payments are due prior to the rookie draft.

Payouts: Total Payout will be $2400 per season. No Commissioner or admin fees.

• Playoff Winner: $1200
• Playoff Runner-up: $600
• Playoff Third place: $300
• Manager with the NFL MVP on their roster: $100
• Highest points scored by a non-playoff team: $100
• The first player (during the season) to be arrested and booked will earn the manager $100. o If there is no winner (arrested player) by the end of our league Championship, the pot will rollover to the following year. Offseason actions don’t participate. This is from NFL Pre-Season week 1, through our League Playoffs.

League Setup: 12 Teams

• 3 Divisions o 4 teams per division

Scoring: 1 point every 25 passing yards, Passing TD: 4, 2-pt: 2, Interception: -1, Pick 6: -4 1 point every 10 rushing yards, Rushing TD: 6, 2-pt: 2 1 point every 10 receiving yards, Reception: 1, Receiving TD: 6, 2-pt: 2 Fumble Lost: -2, Fumble Recovery TD: 6

Roster: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 Flex (W/R/T), 1 SF (Q/W/R/T), 15 Bench, 2 IR slots, 0 Taxi.

Playoffs: Top 2 teams from each of the 3 Divisions will enter the post season.

• All playoff seeding will be determined automatically by Sleeper
• Each round will be re-seeded.
• The Highest ranked team remaining plays the lowest ranked remaining team.
• Each playoff game is one week. Playoffs will take place during NFL weeks 15 through 17.

Waivers:

• Waiver process will be FAAB style.
• Budget will be $100 during the season.
• Minimum bid set to $1.
• Waivers will be set to clear at 12am PST on Wednesday mornings.
• Players will stay on waivers for 1 day after being dropped or becoming available.

Trades: Trade Deadline will be set to week 13. We are all adults and feel that we should self-manage this area. However, if trades appear to be egregious and a majority of owners feel so (7+), trades can be vetoed. If the Commissioner receives 7+ complaints about a trade, it will be vetoed. Complaints can be made by DM and anonymously. Let’s hope this never has to happen. We are here to have fun.

Startup Draft:

• Slow Draft - Snake draft with a 3rd round reversal.
• 8 hours per pick, timer paused from 10pm PST to 8am PST
• If a manager doesn’t pick within the 8 hours allotted, the CPU will pick
• Draft order will be set via 3 randomizations using the randomizer within Sleeper
• Trades are allowed during the draft, both via players and draft picks

Rookie Drafts: Rookie draft will consist of 4 rounds and will be scheduled for the 1st Saturday following the conclusion of the NFL Rookie Draft. The draft will be set up as a slow draft, with an 8 hour timer per pick, the timer being paused from 10pm PST to 8am PST To prevent “tanking” and to PROMOTE competition, the post season will consist of the top 6 teams playing for the League Championship (these teams will earn draft picks 7 through 12 in reverse order. Champion get pick 12). The bottom 6 teams that do NOT make the playoff for the League Championship will be placed in a consolation bracket. The bottom 6 teams will battle it out and the winner of the consolation bracket will get pick 1. Runner-up will get pick 2. Third place will get pick 4. Fourth place will get pick 4. The tie-breaker for pick 5 and 6, the lowest total points scored for the season picks 5th, and the higher of the two points scored all season will pick 6th.

Orphaned Teams: When a manager leaves the league, the Commissioner will make the best effort to keep the team and roster competitive and attempt to find a new manager. At the point that no manager can be found, or too many open teams at once, the remaining managers can vote unanimously to redraft the league with new managers as a new startup league. If not unanimous, new managers can draft amongst themselves from the player pool of the orphaned teams.

Miscellaneous: Remember we are all here to have fun. If there is ever anything that needs to be changed, and there is unanimous consent, these bylaws can be amended at any time. If bylaws need to be amended during the off-season, they can be done so with a majority vote. This is a league created for the managers, not for the Commissioner.
